To improve on security, we plan to adopt Two-Factor Authentication(2FA) on the Redcap application. This will require user to use second authorization after login. You can choose either Mail or Google Authenticator App.

The 2FA can be discussed in depth if requested at Mkenyadaima.

Why Use 2FA Authentication in Redcap

  • Stronger security – it decreases chances of hacker gaining access to corporate devices and sensitive information in the Redcap systems.
  • Lower helpdesk and security management cost
  • Increased productivity and flexibility – User can safely access Redcap systems from any device or location without putting sensitive data at risk
